Our Church & Denomination
St. Thomas of Canterbury is an orthodox, traditional Anglican parish in the Diocese of Mid-America of the Reformed Episcopal Church. The Reformed Episcopal Church is a subjurisdiction of the Anglican Church in North America.
We are a Christ-centered, growing congregation located at the border of Houston and Pearland, just south of Beltway 8 on the northbound feeder road of 288 South (see map / address below).
Our Sunday School classes and Worship Services instill traditional values, Biblical teaching, and historic Anglican worship and music. As a parish of the Reformed Episcopal Church, our church doctrine adheres to the classic Anglican formularies (the Book of Common Prayer (1662), the 39 Articles, the Ordinal, and the Homilies) and we wholeheartedly confess the three great Creeds (the Apostles’, Nicene, and Athanasian Creed) of the early and undivided Church.
We affectionately invite faithful, baptized Christians from other Christian Denominations, who are eligible to partake of Holy Communion in their own church, to receive Holy Communion at St. Thomas of Canterbury if they wish to do so.
For those who wish to learn more about Christianity, we also welcome you! Come and visit us to learn more about the Christian faith and the Good News of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
